Understanding Your Mental Health What is Anxiety?

Everyone experiences some sort of anxiousness occasionally, but the feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness that don’t go away can be a sign of anxiety. A small amount of anxiety for a short period of time can sometimes be helpful to get things done but being stuck in the anxiety can be overwhelming and can create a numbing feeling where it may be hard to do many things including things that we enjoy. Awareness of the signs, symptoms, causes, and treatment for anxiety is the first step to mindset change and overcoming the problem. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy together, we will focus on mitigating intrusive thoughts from anxiety and work towards the goals you have for yourself.
